Northwoods Software Announces Support for .NET with the Release of GoDiagram for .NET
NASHUA, NH.— February 13, 2002, Northwoods Software announced today that it has completely rewritten its world-class C++ and Java diagramming components in C# to fully support the MicrosoftÒ .NET platform. Northwoods’ newest component, called GoDiagram for .NET, provides .NET developers with a diagramming component that is both mature in its world-class feature set and well positioned to help developers today save hundreds of hours building similar functionality into their .NET applications. The component is now shipping.
A number of developers have been using early Alpha and Beta versions of Northwoods GoDiagram for .NET component. The GoDiagram for .NET library is a set of controls and classes built on the .NET platform. GoDiagram for .NET makes it easy to deliver editors allowing users to see and intuitively manipulate diagrams of two-dimensional graphical objects arranged in a scrollable window within a managed .NET application. GoDiagram for .NET has been designed to take full advantage of all of the speed and features that come with developing on the latest Microsoft Visual StudioÒ .NET development system.
